The time has passed for me to swap out the pipes back to the TORs I bought the bike with (needed stocks to pass inspection)
I ordered a pair of gaskets so if I stuffed them on the removal, I wasn't stranded waiting on new ones..

However, I've now grabbed the TORs that came off the bike prior to being collected and I thought there were the remnants or a stuffed gasket in them, but it looks to be intact.

So, stupid questions.....

A: Which way to the gaskets go? I have a mesh side and a solid metal side. the mesh side seems to be toward the baffle end of the pipes and the solid end toward the CAT side, inserted into the the mating end of the pipe.

B: Are these gaskets good to go for round two if they're not all bunched up and such, or is it best to pull them and replace?

A. Can't recall , it's been years since I decatted, they go in the way they came out.

B. I have reused mine without problems, only replaced one as it tore when removing a muffler. Not sure if it states the direction in the service manual, which I assume you have a copy.

A: I'm not surprised, I can't remember the last time I replaced any thing gasketed...

B: Assumptions make an ..... You're half correct, I do have a copy, however, I don't see it noted, which leads me to believe it's 'a known thing, you're not a Triumph trained technician.'

I'll have another look through it when the coffee kicks in, if it's not noted, I'll just shove the fuckers on as is and see if I get a leak/have a look at the ones as the others come off.

.... I mean, I could call Triumph and ask, but I feel like that would be both a waste of my time and a waste of imagination on their part..
